About us

What's Manade?

I plan to experiment with Bonfire and have taken notes for a series of articles.

Explore the first one.

I have even reserved the domain manade.org to possibly run subdomains off of for various communities I am in.

This subdomain is the project's website.

Me

A Bachelor of Journalism graduate of the University of Georgia with a International Relations MA from Georgia State University, Reuben Walker's (my) full-stack development certification is from the University of Central Florida.

Hence the journalsim and political interests.

I am a grouchy cross between Billy Butcher and Wednesday Addams. FYI, I'm prone to curse. But, less so in my old age.

And I'm also a techno anarchist. ⛓️‍💥💻📱

How we work

Everything we do is with the interest of the planet and to a lesser degree humanity as a whole at heart.

Fuck oligarchs. Fuck authoritarians. Fuck big energy. Fuck big finance. And fuck Techno Feudalism.

I put community first, Live the Techno Anarchist Manifesto, and help build the Open Media Network.

Blame it or praise it, there is no denying the wild horse in us.

According to WikiPedia, a manade (prov. menada, originally from lat. manus = hand) is a term used in the Camargue area in France for a semi-wild herd of horses led by a gardian.

Herd/community. Get it.
